Simplify it somehow. It is better for user not to think what to use in particular case.

Example, we want to substitute boardId in lifecycle callback:

let list = await List.getDataLoaderFromContext(ctx).load(fromGlobalId(input.listId).id);
    input.boardId = toGlobalId(Board.getName(), list.boardId);
