At the end of 2000, I started my career as a developer. I was fascinated by the idea of OpenSource, creating something and sharing it with others. Maybe it's because I've been volunteering for German Red Cross for almost 30 years. Anyway, in 2005 I got to know the CMS system TYPO3 and was relatively quickly excited about the great things you could do with it.

Until 2014 I was only a user of TYPO3, for sure I patched my installations but I don't have created patches or contributed code to the project. On Sep 6, 2014, my first feature was merged into the TYPO3 core. This was so amazing for me, that I did more and more patches. Only two months later Benni Mack asks me to join the core developer team which was and is still a great pleasure. I am proud to be a part of the TYPO3 core developer team and this great community. Until now, I have made more than 500 commits to the TYPO3 core.

Most of my work can be found on the GitHub repositories of TYPO3, TYPO3 GmbH and my own account.
