I am Chloe Madison, a trans artist from Detroit, living in a converted school bus in the Bay Area and sometimes other places around the west coast. I have solar powered my little personal makerspace in my bus and designed automation and monitoring systems based on Home Assistant and ESPHome, creating custom hardware in the process.

My work builds on my experience as a UI/UX designer and focuses on easy deployment of foundational systems in off-grid installations, but can be used in standard homes to add basic switching, dimming, and sensing infrastructure to branch locations around the domicile. I intend to continue my work into more niche applications such as diesel/petrol heating solutions, and monitoring/maintaining engine systems on older diesel vehicles.

In the past I also made art with concrete and made attempts to combine it with other materials including electronics. I don't currently have the capability to continue that work, but I hope to again in the future.
