I am currently locked out of the job market in France after one of my employers organized a remarkably ugly affair of sexual nature, then tried fixing it by bribing my lawyer and is currently offering me a job if I accept to never say anything about what happened.

Yes, alas, this is possible in France, and no, the FrenchTech is not very competitive outside of France.

While unemployed, I am working on a number of opensource projects:

  • I wrote the asynchronous Node.js bindings for GDAL
  • I created rlayers, a set of high-level React components for OpenLayers
    • I am also working on the first ever open-source SSR support for mapping applications
  • I created ExprTk.js, a library for asynchronous evaluation of mathematical expressions in Node.js
  • I am contributing to many AAA opensource projects
  • I created igc-xc-score, the first ever open-source scoring program for paragliding and hang-gliding competitions
    • Paragliding/Hang-gliding scoring is a very interesting linear optimization problem with an O(n^5) worst case
  • I created some tools for CPU-heavy Node.js multi-threading
  • I am also contributing to various projects - including Node.js
  • My main interests are GIS, Networking, Front-/ back- JS and computationally heavy JS/C++ projects
