Hi! I'm Werner, also known as slhck on the web, where I'm often a 🐧, too.

I am a PhD student at Ilmenau University of Technology, as well as the founder of AVEQ GmbH, a small startup offering services for monitoring of web and video services, which we completely bootstrapped ourselves.

In my spare time, I build small and useful open source tools for use in multimedia research and development. They are mostly based on FFmpeg, to which I contribute in terms of providing support and documentation for end users.
