Become a sponsor to springdoc-openapi

springdoc helps to automate the generation of OpenAPI description using spring boot projects.
I have started this project as personal open source project, that became quickly (less than one year) adopted by the spring developers community.

I am principal architect at Oracle, based in france (Paris Area). I am also the main developer of the springdoc-openapi library.

Before Oracle, i was working in Banking and Consulting firms as Lead Architect and Project Director, where i lead global technology transformation programs, where i helped customers transform their businesses utilizing the power of technology.

I am an engineer at the base.
As i was passionate about technology and innovation, I have a Master in engineering in information systems (Telecom SudParis) and an executive masters degree in project management. (Central Paris).

I like working with teams and interacting with clients.
In the last 5 years, i became fascinated by the OpenAPI world, and how it can transform every business.

I am focusing on enhancing the library with new functionalities and supporting the community to answer the different questions about the usage or advices.

The libray has been presented lately during the last Spring/IO conference:

The sponsorship is very important, because it will help me add new functionalities and work on a dedicated time for the project. I can spend about 30 hours per week on this project.

The sponsorship will also motivate new contributors to join and participate into the enhancement of the library, so we can guarantee a perinity of maintenance of the library.

As you can read in the OpenCollective documentation, the way your money will be used will be public and totally transparent.

Anyone can file an expense. If the expense makes sense for the development of the community, it will be “merged” in the ledger of our open collective by the core contributors and the person who filed the expense will be reimbursed.

Money will first be used to cover direct project costs:

  • Bug bounties
  • Website hosting
  • Developer tooling
  • Legal protection

Then, money will be used to:

  • Pay for project goodies
  • Pay Meetup fees
  • Pay expenses for developer gatherings: travel & food expenses for core team meetings
