Our company is based on volunteer work from our members. This has the disadvantage that our member do not get paid for the work they do, which puts a damper on their activity level, as people usually have a life outside their daily work schedule.

Sponsoring us is a great way to ensure that our current software gets new functionality, and is kept up to date with both bug fixes and security updates. This also helps us speed things along so that other software that is in development can actually be released.
