We updated spring-boot-starter-web from version 2.4.6 to 2.5.0 and are now seeing following stacktrace at startup:

For our database, we're running version 1.4.200 of h2.

Does this exception have anything to do with the following database-related regressions?

• UnsupportedDataSourcePropertyException is thrown when attempting to set driverClassName for H2 #26631
• Flyway and Liquibase custom datasource without an url leads to java.lang.ClassCastException #26644
• UnsupportedDataSourcePropertyException is thrown when attempting to set URL for SQL Server #26647

I thought this issue was due to an outdated version of spring-session-jdbc, but the issue is still present even with the latest verion (2.5.0) of spring-session-jdbc.

@jhg023 it's hard to figure out what the problem could be based on a version and a stacktrace. Have you consulted the release notes before upgrading and, in particular, this section.
