Health check for statsite

Hi,

First, you did a good job with this app.

Second, in order to check the health of my statsite container from nomad i’m using a TCP connection to the port. Now I want to change it by using some sort of http call or I can also execute some commands remote to test that the service is up.

Can you suggest me the best approach/ command that I can use to test the health of the service ?
I don’t want to use TCP test anymore.
