I don't know if this is technically possible but I do sometimes produce a live stream for charities where there is a remote host and off-camera assistants who compile the questions from YouTube, Zoom, and sometimes even from WhatsApp and forward them to the host in a Google Docs.

Now with this live-chat overlay, the host can remotely choose questions on YouTube Chat and make them appear on the live stream on my machine. So, I was wondering:

  1. Is it possible for off-camera assistants to pool the questions from YouTube by selecting/highlighting them. These comments would appear in a panel in the same YouTube Pop-out Chat. The host then can choose from these comments and display them on the screen. This way the host wouldn't hunt questions in the chatbox in the Q&A session.
  2. In the next step, is it possible for off-camera assistants to manually type questions in the same comments pooling panel. We can of course easily login in with a YouTube account and type these questions in the chatbox but the fact that our own name and logo would appear on the screen makes this option less appealing. A Name field, a question field, and a generic thumbnail image or perhaps the logo of the service where the question is asked.

Hope it makes sense.

I've read your requests, JBraddackm. I do understand the request. I'll see about adding it at a later date; too many other priorities currently.
