While I was adding the Stryker4s roadmap to the website I came up with an idea that might be cool.

What if we added a timeline for Stryker? This way you can see big milestones like the first creation, releases etc. Then this could also be applied for roadmaps as well.

I've created a very fast small mockup too show what I was thinking.
@simondel @nicojs @richardwerkman @hugo-vrijswijk what do you guys think of this idea?
I would like your feedback first before I start sinking time into this.

It looks nice! What did you have in mind? A timeline for Stryker as a whole or a timeline per language? I would like to use this as well for a roadmap for stryker.net

I like them for both aspects really, one just for general information on Stryker which will fun to read.
And one specifically for each version of Stryker for the roadmaps.

Seems like a lot of work to maintain, no? I think this content is better suited for a blog article. As a roadmap format, how about: https://github.com/Microsoft/TypeScript/wiki/Roadmap

In the end this is still just text in an html list. So i don't see how this is more maintanance work then a markdown file.
