Hi. Wondering if there's a way to automatically create Excerpts from Elementor Pages and possibly repopulating them back into Elementor Editor or maybe there's a workaround with a plugin. I've used the vanilla editors as well as many others, and just noticed that excerpts are not automatically populating with the latest Elementor. It appears they want to upsell people on their AI integration now.

Unless Elementor caches its output early or stores the content in your database as HTML (like Gutenberg does), creating excerpts from Elementor's content will make your site about twice as slow. This performance penalty exists because we'd need to render your page's content twice (once for the description, once for the actual visitor).

Still, due to Elementor's sheer popularity, it may be worth investigating alternative methods that could achieve this.
