It's pretty scary that this app overwrites source files right-away, without prior warnings.
There are times when the user might forget to create a backup before "drag and drop" files into this app.

A static setting should be more than enough.

Sounds reasonable, but I don't think I'll be developing this app much further. I started it just to learn Electron and it does what I want for my own purposes. The state of Electron itself is kind of a mess, it doesn't even support the new JavaScript module system and they have no plans to for technical reasons. And webpack-electron is deprecated so I would have to redo the build system. Right now, I would not start a new project in JS except for when forced to for the frontend of a web app.
