The standalone tailwindcss has been great for those of us not wanting to setup a Nodejs environment. I recently read you'll be doing some re-writing and the stand alone may end up being written in Rust.
Please consider implementing consistent, easy to parse output for use in automated systems. Currently, the standalone version will output the following in watch mode:

Errors, of course, are a stack trace.
I think json output would allow you to output as much info as you desire while allowing users to programmatically act upon the results. I wouldn't see this as the default output, but something along the lines of a -j flag.
