Describe the bug

From facebook/docusaurus#8369:

The docs layout looks particularly weird when sidebar/content is smaller than viewport, which is likely to be the case on small pages + vertical screen.

Reproducing the bug

  1. Open the docs
  2. Enter dev tool responsive mode and change the resolution

E.g. in Chrome:

Screen.Recording.2023-03-03.at.17.58.59.mov

Additional Context

already fixed in 3.x but not backportable

Maybe we should try updating Docusaurus then, or use this in the meantime.
