I have noticed stale bot is not closing issues, we have plenty of issues marked stale with > 14 days of inactivity, but they are never closed. Might be a config issue.

It actually looks like the bot is dead actually 🥲 probot/stale#385 (comment)

Looks like the proper way of resolving this is to migrate to https://github.com/actions/stale
