Explain ~ and \\ in configuration paths #68

Since our configuration file is technically a javascript file, escape sequences apply for \ character. On windows you have to specify paths with \ and thus your config has to contain paths like C:\\Users\\etc\\

Also explain that ~ can be used to expand to home path (even on Windows!)

Cool, I'll add that to my doc rewrite. I should have a PR soon (focusing on open PRs right now but should be back to doc next week!).

lol "soon", that was a year and a half ago...

@xPaw, these are the remaining locations that I found for this:

Would you change any of those and, if so, what would you specify? It seems clear enough to me, but I might be missing something.

Well the issue wants to add a block in the guide explaining ~ and \\ escapes.

As for your links, only the upgrade guide needs to be changed from ~/.thelounge to $THELOUNGE_HOME because docker/debian/etc don't store in home.
