When I select a tag (for example v2.2.4) the code in the repository at that tag no longer contains tinyobjloader and is instead some sort of branch/copy of pybind11. This is quite confusing. I tried with several other tags (v2.2.3, etc.)

  • Is there a tagged stable version other than mainline for the project?
  • Can the tags be fixed?

Sorry for the confusion. releases/tags are not managed well at the moment.

Is there a tagged stable version other than mainline for the project?

For a while, please use master branch as a stable version

Can the tags be fixed?

I saw somewhat strange tag v1.0.7 https://github.com/syoyo/tinyobjloader/releases/tag/v1.0.7

As far as I know I did not created such tag...

Also, for v2.2.4 tag, its tagged by other person(wjacob, pybind11 author), not me.

https://github.com/syoyo/tinyobjloader/releases/tag/v2.2.4

I'm not sure why this happened. Firstly I need to investigate how github's releases/tags is working...

I am deleting invalid tags and re-tagging v2.x. At least https://github.com/syoyo/tinyobjloader/releases/tag/v2.0-rc1 and https://github.com/syoyo/tinyobjloader/releases/tag/v2.0.0-rc1 should be the correct and newest release and tag.
