In Rubinius 2.0 Released, the following was said about Rubinius' target audience:

Starting with 2.0, Rubinius will concentrate on providing exceptional Ruby support for
building modern concurrent and distributed applications. Not every legacy Ruby
program or quirky Ruby feature will be suitable for Rubinius. Instead, we'll prioritize
the performance and stability of concurrent applications to make Ruby competitive
with Go, Erlang, Clojure, Scala, and Node.

(I support Rubinius' decision to state what its target audience is, BTW.)

I can't find any documentation on Topaz's target audience.

Does Topaz have a limited target audience? If so, what limitations are there on its target audience?

This should be documented somewhere.
