Display Settings: French -> RTL?

I was wondering about the entry for French in the Display Settings:

Lines 146 to 152 in c4f481a

I'm not a native French speaker, but having learned it in school and living next door to a French-speaking country, I'm pretty confident that they do write LTR. Am I misreading that table and is French maybe used in some region where it is displayed RTL?
