Occasional .torrent files get "stuck" and repeatedly re-created

What is the issue?

On a very occasional basis, after creating a new .torrent file, Transmission will repeatedly re-create the file every few seconds - if the file is kept in its original directory, the "date modified" will continually update; if the file is moved, a new copy will appear in its original directory within a few seconds. Although Transmission remains usable while this is occurring, the interface slows down drastically, with continual several-second delays (including spinning rainbow cursor). The only fix I've found is to quit and restart the app.

Although still infrequent, this seems to be happening more often under MacOS 14.4.1 than under any previous MacOS version.

Unfortunately, I don't - since it only happens occasionally, and I can't figure out any conditions that make it happen. (I know, this isn't particularly helpful!)
