  • This is not a feature request (existing functionality does not work, not missing functionality).
I will request features on forum or via support.
  • I've searched and did not find a similar issue.

The Tutanota AppImage file just disappeared from my computer and I couldn't really find it anywhere (even in Trash). I am not really sure what had happened but, given that only Tutanota seems to have been affected, I am wondering if something went wrong during the recent update. I fixed this by just re-downloading the desktop client but I'd really like to know if there is a way to confirm what really happened. I apologize if this seems a bit bizarre.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Fedora 39
  • Desktop Environment: GNOME

Hi, this might happen if the app cannot write to the destination location.

If you can reproduce it please try to start it from the command line and share the logs with us
