bootstrap upgrade to 3.4.1 from 3.3.7 is not compatible IOS17

We have a website serving a combination of aspx and asp pages with the bootstrap 3.3.7. we tried to upgrade to 3.4.1 by adding the bootstrap.min.css removing the old bootstrap.css. Made few changes like changing the col-lg-9/col-lg-3 to col-md-9/col-md-3. For the purposes of Glyphicons, we added a fonts folder with glyphicons to the css. These pages work fine on chrome and edge for desktop and also on android devices. For IOS/MacOS it loads the page but failed to navigate to subsequent page due to redirection issues. Any ideas?
