As of June 30, 2023, legacy FCM was deprecated and Twilio will end of life Legacy FCM support on May 15, 2024. We recommend customers to upgrade to use FCM v1 as soon as possible. For more information on how to migrate your firebase project, please refer to this document. Please note that no SDK upgrade is necessary for this transition.

While both FCM legacy and FCM v1 is supported by our SDK, we recommend customers to migrate their FCM tokens to FCM v1 as soon as possible to avoid any issues when FCM legacy is disabled by Google.
