Unreachable type breaks config inference #8898

Uh oh! @jasonkuhrt, the image you shared is missing helpful alt text. Check your discussion body. Alt text is an invisible description that helps screen readers describe images to blind or low-vision users. If you are using markdown to display images, add your alt text inside the brackets of the markdown image. Learn more about alt text at Basic writing and formatting syntax: images on GitHub Docs.

Sorry the issue templates are daunting. If I import the following: import { TSESLint } from '@typescript-eslint/utils' it makes this error go away: TS2742: The inferred type of 'default' cannot be named without a reference to '.pnpm/@typescript-eslint+utils@7.6.0_eslint@8.57.0_typescript@5.4.5/node_modules/@typescript-eslint/utils/ts-eslint'. This is likely not portable. A type annotation is necessary.
