breakpoints variants doesn't work for advanced rules?

Inbuilt presetUno does nothing when adding breakpoint modifiers to advanced rules: REPL

Same thing with custom variant: REPL

So, my question is, is there any way to solve this for "full-controlled" rules? Without manually writing all possible modifiers for each such rule. Thanks.
