What Did I Work on This Past Iteration
This sprint I helped out with rescoping our game play piece, adding external gameplay for users to have self-directed games, and helping with code reviews

What Were Any Major Issues/Challenges I Ran Into
The major challenge here was updating the existing social login and revamping it to Google as there were some issues with FB auth on Heroku. Also for building the gameplay piece, it took a lot of experimentation to figure out how best to scope it and then implement it

What Do You Plan to Work on This Coming Iteration
For this upcoming iteration, we will continue with meetings with the team and practicing for the final demo as a group

What Did I Work on This Past Iteration
In this sprint, I helped out with rescoping our standard requirements to change our gameplay piece by adding the functionality to an external chess application and adding a requirement that users should be able to create their own custom notation. I worked on the custom notation functionality where users can retrieve, create and delete their own custom notations when they are logged in. I also created a simple modal for the sign-in page.

What Were Any Major Issues/Challenges I Ran Into
A challenge I faced was getting the application on Heroku to connect to the AWS s3 bucket. I had to take time and configure the IAM user on AWS to give the correct permissions so that the application can upload to the s3 bucket. However, once correctly configured it works smoothly :).

What Do You Plan to Work on This Coming Iteration
For this upcoming iteration, we will finish what's left of the standard requirements. I will personally look to help the other members finish their standard requirements and take part in code reviews. I will also take time to prepare and practice for the final demo. As well as help with adding or editing documentation.

What Did I Work on This Past Iteration
In this sprint, I helped out with rescoping our standard requirements to fit our capacity. I also changed our authentication from facebook auth to google auth.

What Were Any Major Issues/Challenges I Ran Into
A challenge I faced was figuring out why auth was working locally but not on deployment. I realized that I had to add allowable URIs for every deployment I made. This allowed me to get auth working.

What Do You Plan to Work on This Coming Iteration
For this upcoming iteration, I plan on building out the login page as well as help out with fixing up any outstanding bugs.

What Did I Work on This Past Iteration
In this sprint, I continued to work on integrating the favourites standard requirements with individual user functionality, as well as helping out with discussion of rescoping the project requirements.

What Were Any Major Issues/Challenges I Ran Into
An issue I ran into was some refactoring and relearning of some code surrounding the new Google authorization and login, but in the long term the change was helpful because of the extensive documentation of Google's API.

What Do You Plan to Work on This Coming Iteration
For this upcoming iteration, I plan on finishing and finalizing the favourites function as well as look out for any bugs, and preparing for the final demo
