I would love to hear some of your ideas on how to go past the theoretical limit in number of nodes/links rendered at once!
Basically:
Is there a way to apply LOD techniques for spheres (nodes) and lines (links)?
Would making distant nodes/links invisible help, or are there better methods?
Would this use-case be unique but common enough to warrant an addition to the examples you currently have? I'm talking 20k+ nodes/links or is that not something that's feasible?
