Is there an existing issue for this?

Machine specifications

Xeon Virtual Machine, 12 GB RAM

Operating system

Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS Kernel: 5.15.0-105-generic

Docker version

Docker version 26.1.0, build 9714adc

Description

Hi,

i have a virtual machine with no kvm support:

I don't see, what is working wrong.

This container is made for KVM. On most systems it will also run without KVM (but not on yours apparantly).

But even if it would run, it would be useless for any real purpose, because it will be very slow without the hardware acceleration. So Im not sure if its worth the effort to figure out what is going wrong, when I already know you will never going to use it even if we fix it.

Is there a reason why your VM has no KVM support? On most systems you can enable "nested virtualization" to have KVM inside the VM.
