Hello,

I'm trying to play Doom using FastDoom in my computer:

HP t510
VIA Eden X2 U4200 1 GHz
SDRAM DDR3 2GB
VIA ChromotionHD 2.0
Disney Sound Source on LPT1
FreeDOS 1.3

When I use my Disney Sound Source as my Soundcard, the effects sounds very buggy. I made a video showing this issue:
https://youtu.be/benU5ribp7k?t=730 (Starting in 12:10 minutes).

I'm talking in Portuguese but It's possible to listen the problem. When I get any item or shoot any gun or after the end of soundeffet, I got a noise like a snap or a pop. Also in this video, I tested using a Covox Speech Thing on LPT1 and the sound looks perfect.

Which FastDoom release version are you using? Also can you try an older release of FastDoom (for example 0.8.14)?

Wow don't know why but the issue got closed automatically with the last commit. I have fixed some bugs on the sound code, which should fix this issue. I don't have a real Disney Sound Source, so don't know if it is really fixed (I rely on emulators, which aren't 100% perfect). I can upload a test release so you can test to see if this fixes the issue for you.

If you upload the test release I can test it!
I'm using a real Disney Sound Source!

I'm testing here... Sounds much better!
I will get my speaker tomorrow to finish the tests!

Comparing with the older version, it's better!

But...

It's not 100% yet and I will try to explain and if helps you I can make a video showing you.
The noise after reproduce any sound dissapeared but randomly a low noise is coming.

I really don't know if it's a malfunction in my speaker or if it's anything in sound code.

I've uploaded a new release, can you try it? If it still fails please upload a new video so I could investigate the issue. Thanks!
