Enoki inspiration for increased performance

This is a really cool lib. A lot of work and the code looks quite fast and modern, yet small and readable. Good job, thanks!

While looking at the code I thought you might take some further inspiration from https://github.com/mitsuba-renderer/enoki which solves most of the performance issues on modern HW to a high degree without imposing any additional obstacles.
