[question] Ubuntu 22.04 is supported with latest BYOH version? #638
Comments
@ionutnechita Glad to know you want to use BYOH :) cc @shivi28 |
FYI, I’ve hit issues with Cilium on Ubuntu 22.04, so it might be that there are other issues as well. |
Probably fine if you know how to finness other people's Linux opinions: cilium/cilium#20125 (comment) |
Thanks @davidspek and @protosam, This is useful context and it seems like the issue is fixed in cilium/cilium#20072 |
I personally don't subscribe to the idea of this being a cilium issue to "fix". It's a system administrator's job to manage their OS to use software like this. However, if "fixed" means that cilium will patch the OS config, it's not "fixed" then. cilium/cilium#20072 only patches 1 directory (by creating new conf I think? too lazy to check...) https://github.com/cilium/cilium/blob/d84e67ebca476559e789378c991a75c7e2849673/tools/sysctlfix/main.go#L24 |
Hi BYOH Team,
Ubuntu 22.04 is supported with latest BYOH version?
I have plan to install Ubuntu 22.04 with CAPI BYOH method.
Your team are tested with Ubuntu 22.04 and BYOH v0.2.0?
