Epic Games and Unreal Engine login not working

Whenever I attempt to sign in into only epic games and unreal engine (in that order), the program gets stuck after being logged into the Unreal Store. From what I was able to tell, it attempts to look for the login screen, but because have already logged in from the previous epic games sign-in, it never detects it.

I have had that happen. I had to CTRL+C to terminate and refill the info (user/pass/2fa) a few times before it didn't get stuck.
