Typing after double quote locks up Eclipse

I'm on a Mac (Monterey 12.2.1) using Eclipse Version: 2022-12 (4.26.0), Build id: 20221201-1913 using Vrapper 0.74.0

When I type " (open doublequote) and some text following it my Eclipse locks up and I have to force kill it. Happens whether I use Smart Insert or not. If I toggle vrapper off the same situation does not happen. No bad behaviors if I use ' (open single quote).

Is the simple answer "Vrapper can't be used in 2022-12 Eclipse"? Everything else I've tried seems to work fine.
