Here are a few general ideas tbd

  • 1-day non-profit conference in Hamburg
  • topics all things progressive web apps and single page applications
  • ~100 attendees max
  • either have talks chosen by us(?) in advance or have an online voting prior to the event. No voting during the conference day as it consumes too much time
  • tickets as cheap as possible or even free if possible (depends on sponsoring)
  • Diversity support
  • leverage BOOT e.V. as a legal entity to avoid hassle with taxes, insurances etc.

+1 for all the things

I have a location idea.

How about "progressive web day"? Would be a bit easier to pronounce than pwa day maybe...

@filtercake what do you have in mind for the location?
Afaik Finanzcheck would be happy to host (for free?), which would make things super easy in that regard as locations often are super expensive. cc @Schubidu

Name sounds good, how'd you name the domain? :D (see #2 )

@rogin-drexler @finanzcheck will host for free, but the location has a limit of 100-120 Persons.
