The new multiline functionality in Weechat 4.x is nice, I'm sure, for servers that support it, but I largely work with those that don't.
My window has a single line of input, not a multiline area, by personal preference and tradition.
Now, if I paste multiple lines into an IRC buffer/window, I see two magenta >> at the end of the input line, and no evidence of any of the text I have pasted.
It is worse with weechat.look.paste_max_lines set to 1, as I am asked to confirm (with Ctrl+Y) if I want to paste or not, and then after pressing Ctrl+Y, the lines are not pasted. All I see is the magenta >> with no indication of what was just pasted into the window.
In both cases I can press Enter/Return (a second time, even!) and the paste goes through... but I just want the 3.x behaviour back, please.
I read the documentation and changelogs and could not find a way to disable this functionality. Either I am missing something, or this is a new feature request.
