Option to ignore self signed certificates in proxied services

I have configured elm-live to proxy /api to https://myservice.example.com which uses a self signed certificate.

Requests for /api leads to the response

"502 Bad Gateway" 

and

 "Proxy failure : self signed certificate in certificate chain" 

is shown in elm-live's console output.

Changing the cert is unfortunately not an option for me so an option to ignore self signed certs would be great. Like:

--proxy-ignore-self-signed-certs
