Would like to be able to require('some-workshopper') and do some magic.
require('some-workshopper')
This would mean the 'default' workshopper file in a workshop would go from:
workshopper(config) // automatically prints menu
to:
var workshop = workshopper(config) module.exports = workshop if (process.main) workshop.start() // only auto-prints if run from cmdline

I think I had this in the very first version but the couldn't think of a reason to need an extra call to do something that would always be done.
If you have a good reason then go for it before 1.0 is final.

How about an option autoStart: false that does not start the workshopper immediately?
