Inbound federation not working #830

It turned out that there was a missing intermediate certificate that caused the TLS handshake to fail from fosstodon.org to underlap.org. I added the missing certificate to a certificate chain and reconfigured underlap.ord. Federation now works. |

I've set up a single user writefreely instance at
https://underlap.org
but I cannot find the fediverse handle from Mastodon. The settings show the fediverse handle as@glyn@underlap.org:443
, but typing this into the search of a Mastodon instance (fosstodon.org
) does not find a profile.(I tried searching for the handle
@glyn@underlap.org
, but this gives the error "503 Remote SSL certificate could not be verified".)I am using writefreely 0.14.0 on Debian 12. A screenshot of config.ini is below:
Note that I can navigate from the writefreely instance to another instance. For example, I included a fediverse handle
@underlap@fosstodon.org
in a post and this produced a link[@underlap@fosstodon.org](https://underlap.org/@/underlap@fosstodon.org)
which allows me to navigate to the corresponding profile on fosstodon.org.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
