There's a request from Developer DAO to cover Nexth in a blog post for their knowledge base.
But I'd also love to see other content, tutorials or writings about projects that are built using Nexth.

A potential starting guide could be (thanks to @wolovim)

  • whats a starter kit?
  • what is Nexth?
  • what has been built with it already?
  • what prerequisites do i need to use it?
    • intro to each of the major building blocks/concepts/tools within
  • how can i use this to great effect in a hackathon?
  • what can i build with it?
    • inspo/ideas for what you can build

Happy to collaborate with someone on this!

Hey Chief! 👋

I came across this issue and am really excited about the opportunity to contribute. Creating tutorials and blog posts(can't vouch for my video making skills as it has never been done professionally, haha) about Nexth sounds like a fantastic way to contribute and learn more.

I'd love to discuss how I can help out and maybe collaborate on this. Looking forward to hearing from you!

gm @resourcefulmind 👋

i think a guided tour of nexth could make for a cool one-off lesson within D_D Academy. content that helps prepare learners for hackathons is a current priority. @wslyvh's bullet point outline was my suggestion for what would make a well-rounded and useful lesson in that regard.

if this is interesting to you, i'll just need the written answers to those questions (or your own, if you'd like to take it in a different direction) in a google doc, gist file, or whatever your preference. @elPiablo and/or i can do the editing, formatting, polish.

D_D Academy is an open source public good and there's a reward of 500 CODE upon successful delivery, enough to join Developer DAO. i'm @wolovim on telegram and discord - reach out if you're interested and we can get into more of the specifics. 🍻

Hi @elPiablo @wolovim thanks for the additional context and the opportunity to collaborate with Developer DAO. Looking forward to see how we can contribute :)

Awesome to hear from you @resourcefulmind :)
You're very welcome to work on this!

It seems like we might have 2 people who want to work on this as @bobeu expressed his interest as well. Will let him confirm.

I wouldn't mind to see more content created around Nexth, so it's fine if you both work on this.
If you guys don't mind to collaborate I think we could post it as a series to the Developer DAO knowledge base.
In that case I'd suggest that 1 focuses on the structure in the original post on the benefits of Nexth, and how it can help kickstart your developer/hackathon journey. And the other could focus more on a hands-on tutorial, getting started, setting up dev environment, or even build more in depth example of what you can build with it.

Some example projects that could be useful as example Apps/tutorials

  • A simple NFT minting page
  • A Patreon-style donation page
  • A simple voting App
  • ..
Open to your own ideas / suggestions :)

If you prefer to create something on your own, that's totally fine and understandable as well. You're welcome to post to your own blog, or happy to host @useWeb3 for reach https://www.useweb3.xyz/

Either way, I will match the 500 CODE upon successful delivery so both of you could get rewarded and join Developer DAO

Let me know if you any additional context or help. You can also ping me on Telegram or Discord (same handle @wslyvh)

Hi @wolovim and @wslyvh ,

I’m genuinely excited about the prospect of contributing to Nexth! I appreciate the structure suggested for the content and the potential for collaboration.

After reflecting on both options, I'm inclined to tackle the potential starting guide you(@wolovim) outlined. I believe it will provide a comprehensive introduction to Nexth and serve as a valuable resource for newcomers, especially for those preparing for hackathons.

I plan to begin by answering the suggested questions, ensuring a thorough understanding of Nexth, and showcasing its potential through a series of well-structured content pieces.

I will manage the tasks independently to maintain a steady workflow and meet the project timelines effectively. I’m keen to ensure that the content is both insightful and engaging, and I look forward to contributing something of great value to the community.

I'll be in touch with each of you via Telegram(we might need to create a group so info is centralized though) to discuss further specifics and how we can proceed with the content creation.
