I know that Alpine is popular in Docker because it's super-slim, but it's not binary-compatible with Ubuntu because of musl, so it's less likely to work with tools prepackaged for a typical Linux distro, which might be confusing for some people. Maybe we could have a :ubuntu tag published to Docker Hub?
