• What browser are you using?
• Please paste the contents of the following command after inputting it into a developer console:
  console.log( JSON.stringify( ZeroClipboard.state() ) );

I tested "console.log( JSON.stringify( ZeroClipboard.state() ) );"
But Error: Uncaught TypeError: Object # has no method 'state'.

Please provide the link to a full test page (or the HTML for such, or a repo containing it, etc.) that reproduces your issue. It's not making any sense to me thus far.
