When my brother set up a quad, he missed this. Let's make it clearer. ArduPilot has its quirks, this is one of the first a new user hits. They might crash into themselves if they stand directly behind the vehicle on intial takeoff if pitch is reversed on copter.
The fact the devs keep having to remind users this indicates it's not clear enough, and it's not intuitive.
