This repository is for a Spacesuit that uses Kubernetes in order to assure minimal downtime in the spacesuits critical life saving features. With the extreme advancements that we see in AI daily, it is not a stretch to assume that we need to start protecting our Astronauts from Cyber attacks. Having a space suit be compromised on a space walk would be instantly fatal for the astronaut. This project is in it's early designing stages that will continue to change.

I want to focus on designing the infrastructure of the suits code, so there won't be any construction until we are ready to test certain sensors or pieces of the suit. The AI/ML model will be fed the data from different sensors and data sources that are available. While there will be many code aspects of this suit, multiple fail safes will need to be mechanical to avoid possibly frequent electrical issues. Including Lucene and Zookeeper will allow Tensorflow to leverage useful info like the average air pressure the astronaut is experiencing and make decisions based on the data available.
To Do List:
- Create a heart of the suit (Kubernetes Control Plane)
- Decide number of replicas
- Chose sensors for critical life-supporting systems
- Get hardware sizing and spec requirements
- Program Low and High Power recovery options
- Network/Access Control Policies for resources and nodes
- Configure Restart Policies to minimalize downtime of nodes
- Decide sensor locations and create services to access them
- Structure internal and external communication
- Build Search & Indexing on Lucene or similar product
