The Infusion Fuel Finder helps you decide which items to infuse into an item, or to infuse an item into. DIM cannot actually perform the infusion, but it can move both items into your inventory.

The tool will suggest items that are the cheapest to infuse if they exist (no upgrade modules) and items that will get your item to the highest power otherwise.

e.g. I have two Submission SMGs, so when I use the tool on my Submission it finds the higher power one and suggest it, even though I have other items that could get it to a higher power. It's looking for the most cost effective options. If I don't have two of an item, than upgrade modules will need to be used regardless and it will just pick my highest power item.

You can use the search bar within the tool to narrow down what you want to use for infusion like using tag:infuse to only have it pick items that you have tagged for infusion.
