Quick Fill Extension

Quick Fill Extension is a simple browser extension that allows you to quickly insert text into text fields on web pages.

Installation

Google Chrome

  1. Download the extension files by clicking on the "Code" button above and selecting "Download ZIP".
  2. Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a folder on your computer.
  3. Open Google Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/.
  4. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner.
  5. Click on "Load unpacked" and select the folder containing the extracted extension files.
  6. The extension should now be installed and ready to use.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Download the extension files by clicking on the "Code" button above and selecting "Download ZIP".
  2. Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a folder on your computer.
  3. Open Mozilla Firefox and go to about:addons.
  4. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select "Debug Add-ons".
  5. Click on "Load Temporary Add-on" and select any file in the folder containing the extracted extension files.
  6. The extension should now be installed and ready to use.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Download the extension files by clicking on the "Code" button above and selecting "Download ZIP".
  2. Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a folder on your computer.
  3. Open Microsoft Edge and go to edge://extensions/.
  4. Enable "Developer mode" in the bottom left corner.
  5. Click on "Load unpacked" and select the folder containing the extracted extension files.
  6. The extension should now be installed and ready to use.

Usage

After installing the extension, you can use it by following these steps:

  1. Click on the extension icon in the browser toolbar.
  2. Enter your desired text in the options page.
  3. Click "Save" to save the text.
  4. Whenever you want to insert the text into a text field on a web page, press Ctrl + Y.

Notes

  • The extension is designed to work on most websites, but it may not function properly on certain pages with custom text fields or scripts.
