Jonathan's Coding Journey 👨🏼‍💻

In my final year of college, I embarked on a coding journey that would shape my professional trajectory. Armed with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a major in Finance, I found myself drawn to the challenge of streamlining financial data processing. The repetitive nature of report creation during my internship at Norfolk Southern sparked my curiosity. How could I expedite these tasks?

Enter Udemy—a beacon of knowledge. There, I delved into the world of VBA Macros, learning how to wield their automation magic. Armed with newfound skills, I set out to transform my work processes. Reports were no longer mundane chores; they became dynamic, efficient, and shareable with my team.

As my internship concluded, I transitioned seamlessly into a role at Norfolk Southern. Climbing the ranks, I evolved from a curious intern to a Systems Analyst. But my hunger for growth didn’t stop there. I devoured courses on Udemy and LinkedIn Learning, absorbing every nugget of programming wisdom. My goal extended beyond mere technical prowess; I aspired to lead—a software engineer with vision and the ability to rally a team.

Now, as I continue my journey, I eagerly anticipate the opportunities that lie ahead. Each line of code I write, every problem I solve, propels me toward a future where innovation and leadership intersect.
