What is Path of Building?

In short, Path of Building (PoB) is a tool used to plan your Path of Exile character builds in an easy and efficient way with ability to share not only your build's tree but also items and skill gem setups which better help people to share accurate information and plan builds together! A quick glance at the features:

  • Skill tree planner
  • Item planner
  • Skill gem planning
  • Accurate calculations of real stats based on the above

What problems does Path of Building solve?

Path of Building solves the problem of varying stats and gear setups that people are unable to efficiently share. With PoB you're able to share an exact setup of a build with specific item data that will represent accurate statistics on how much damage or life you will have with this build and item combination, being able to tweak a slider to alter these stats in real-time to see what kind of gear will be feasible vs what is absolutely required to make the build work makes planning your builds with PoB almost invaluable.

Within a build you're able to share versions of the tree that will display alternate versions of the tree such as HC and SC alternates or leveling variants of the build, no need to create and manage tons of versions of your build and easily shared to many makes this solve the issue or saving many links to skill tree setups per build.

How can I get the most out of Path of Building?

Read over the 'Getting Started' guide on the right side of this wiki page to get a better understanding of how to use PoB which will cover some of the features many users don't know exist.

To get the most out of the tool you should report bugs as you experience them so that the developer can try to replicate and fix the issue(s).
