PRIDE PPP-AR ver. 2.2 (release 2023-09-28)

Release version 2.2 features a new command-line style and multi-day processing, now the PRIDE PPP-AR ver. 2.2 are available for:

  1. GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS-2/3 and QZSS capable;
  2. High-rate GNSS data processing of up to 50 Hz;
  3. Vienna Mapping Function 1/3 (VMF3) for troposphere modeling;
  4. Second-order ionospheric correction;
  5. High-dynamic mobile platforms applicable for aerial photogrammetry, ship-borne gravimetry, etc;
  6. Receiver clock jump mitigation;
  7. Multi-day processing;
  8. Satellite attitude quaternions;
  9. A GUI lite-version provided for very early career researchers;
  10. Ambiguity-float PPP using data dating back to 1994 when SA was on;
  11. GPS/Galileo/BDS-2/3 PPP-AR in the case of the bias-SINEX format phase biases (ftp://igs.gnsswhu.cn);
  12. Adopt both rapid products (RAP) and real-time products (RTS) for more timeliness.

Major changes since last release

  1. Specify the language/region setting to "en_US.UTF-8" to avoid issues with decimal comma;
  2. Fix the issue of unable to process BDS-only observation;
  3. Fix the issue of unable to recognize some RINEX observation files;
  4. Improve the substitution rules for vacant multi-GNSS PCOs/PCVs and fixed related read issues;
  5. BDS GEO satellites are disabled by default to enhance processing quality.

Notes for PRIDE PPP-AR GUI

This GUI version of PRIDE PPP-AR software is based on the Linux version. The executable files used in the software are nearly the same as the Linux version, and the products preparation process and data processing steps are also the same as the Linux version. The software can help users to use PRIDE PPP-AR on Mac system and Windows system in a friendly way. However, there is some difference between the GUI version and PRIDE PPP-AR ver. 2.2:

  1. The GUI version cannot handle high-frequency data above 1Hz;
  2. The GUI version will not download RTS products, GLONASS broadcast ephemeris and hourly broadcast ephemeris;
  3. The GUI version only support for single-day processing;
  4. Table directory of the GUI version is in the installation directory.

  1. Support for IGS20 conventions: new ANTEX file and SINEX file, and "APC_MODEL" keyword;
  2. New default products for 1995-2020: IGS Repro3 combination products (IGS2R03FIN) that support PPP-AR after 2000;
  3. Increased maximums for multi-day processing (to 32 days) and processing interval (to 300.0 secs);
  4. Improved language/region compatibility;
  5. Enhanced functionality and other minor bug fixes. See our README page for details.
