GP2Y0D805Z0F is a detection sensor,composed of an integrated combination of PSD(position sensitive detector) , IRED (infrared emitting diode) and signal processing circuit.
Working principle:Three wires,VCC,GND and signal.The signal wire output low when a object exists in the specified distance range(0.5cm-5cm).Otherwise stays high.
Download this sketch to the arduino base-board and connect the sensor.Open the serial with boudrate 115200,Then observe the log.
